Kelvin Keh has over 20 years of international business experience across the spectrum of healthcare segments including biotech/ pharma, devices, digital, nutrition and CPG. He co-founded and exited a biotech company in 2004 and has experience building high growth businesses in Europe, Asia and US. Kelvin returned to New Zealand in 2008 and have been focused on establishing high growth platforms in major global markets.

Kelvin has served on the boards of a number of companies and is a current board member of the EpiGen Global Research Consortium with headquarters in UK and was previously on the Boards of Energia Portior Limited, UniServices (Hong Kong) Limited, and Chair of Foundation Ventures. He has formal qualifications in Biotechnology and Chemical Engineering from the University of Auckland and is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors.

Chris is an experienced entrepreneur having founded a number of successful businesses in the healthcare sector. Currently she is a Partner in Hauora Health GmbH, a Basel based company licensing-in NZ health products (e.g. Enzogenol from ENZO Nutraceuticals) as well as Triskel Biopharmaceuticals, which has an an early-stage product for prematurely born children.

Chris is also an experienced consultant assisting several small biotech companies with business plans and commercial propositions. Previously Chris was CEO & Founding Partner of GfK Research Matters AG, a global healthcare market research and marketing consultancy in Basel, which, was later acquired by GfK Global Healthcare.

Chris is a very active member in the not-for-profit sector in Basel, playing a key role in fundraising for the Cancer Society ‘Krebsliga beider Basel’, Schweizer Tafel (poverty alleviation), and previously for the Renner Stiftung (support to relatives and carers of cancer sufferers). She is also a member of the Rotary Club Basel.

Felix Reiff brings extensive international healthcare and consumer sector experience to the team. He is currently Senior Advisor to McKinsey & Company, Board member of Geistlich Pharma AG, of the Support Foundation at Avenir Suisse, and an External Advisor to Herzog & de Meuron. Felix was previously the CEO of Bayer Consumer Care and President of the Board of Directors (Swiss), and held positions at Kraft Jacobs Suchard and Roche.

Ilona Haaijer brings over 25 years of global experience in the B2C and B2B segments in international food, life sciences and biotech space. Among other roles, she was President and CEO of DSM Food Specialties, President of DSM Personal Care at Royal DSM, CEO of Philips AVENT and CEO of private equity owned Bugaboo. She is a current board member at Corbion NV, a listed food ingredients and biobased multinational and Royal Boskalis.

Gerhard Ries is the founder & CEO of DiaMedCare, and has more than 20 years of global life sciences and venture capital experience; both as entrepreneur and as an investor. He has a strong scientific and operational background and held various corporate positions at McKinsey, Novartis, Ciba Geigy and Boehringer Mannheim. Before founding DiaMedCare, Gerhard was Co-founder and Managing Partner of BioMedPartners where he supervised more than 50 investments and served on the board of more than 20 biotech companies. Prior to that, he was Co-founder and Managing Director of InterPharmaLink, a specialized portfolio management consulting company for the pharmaceutical industry. Gerhard holds a M.S. and a Ph.D. degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Basel and a M.S. degree in Biotechnology from the Fachhochschule Weihenstephan (Munich).
